Introducing 2021 … And Me!

Welcome to 2021! I thought that rather than jumping straight into the new year by talking about end of life, or death and dying matters, that maybe I could just spend a couple of minutes telling you about me. Because…why not?!

I grew up in Plymouth in the South West and now live in Salisbury with my husband and six cats.

One pet. Let me make this clear. Only one of them signed the pet contract.

Aside from cats and caring that people make their End of Life Plans, there are two things that make me ridiculously happy in this world, neither of which I should be proud of but there’s no point in denying these things.

Guilty Pleasure 1

The first: chocolate. Entirely unoriginal I know. Ferrero Rocher, since you ask, although I’m partial to a family bar of Cabury’s Wholenut too.

Guilty Pleasure 2

The second guilty pleasure is watching copious amounts of YouTube. And beauty YouTubers in particular.

Some people may call me shallow; others may share similar interests…It’s just one of those things that I enjoy watching.

Balance is Important

I think it’s important to find balance wherever you can in life End of Life Planning can be a difficult subject. Not always, but sometimes.

So my way of balancing that is to be curled up, with a cat, eating chocolate, watching makeup tutorials.

That’s my life in a nutshell. Not remotely information but a new year brings the promise of hope, change and growth – possibly even some End of Life Planning.

And sometimes it’s just nice to know the person behind the message and what makes them smile. And the things that make me smile are YouTube, cats and chocolate.

I hope your 2021 has begun in exactly the way that you wished. And I’ll be back next week with possibly something a little more End of Life Planning related.

Until next time, take care.
